Ive been networking and generating leads for sometime in my mortgage business. it takes time and money to do things right. i talk to everybody i come in contact with and make friends. maybe that person knows somebody who may need my services or maybe that person is an accountant that can utiize my services to better help their own clients. i use direct mail with a targeted market using 4 color glossy postcards and have a team of people follow up with phone calls. telemarketing is getting tricky with the do not call list laws and regulations (plus nobody wants to talk to a telemarketer). i also give free education in a public forum to prospective clients, real estate agents, financial advisors.. i also have a website that i market through yahoo to give myself the best shot at a client shopping for a loan on the net
these answers were lame as usual

I just joined a brand new MLM company. http://nuvitae.com/warren
I know I am in the right position because I am number 12 in the entire company and there are as of 4/13/08 less than 40 people in the entire company.
My main question is…. we just started the pre-enrollment phase of the company….. does anyone know a great way to generate leads? This product really speaks for its self and has no competition but, I am just trying to figure out a great way to market it.
Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated!
Warren
Despite what some may say, MLMs can be quite ethical and far from schemes. Yes, there are bad companies… but there are also good companies. Many of them. I’ll be happy to debate it privately.
Before I get to your question, let me congratulate you on taking your financial future into your own hands. If things go well with your new company, you should be in for a very wild ride!
Do keep in mind, though, that many young MLMs fail; there is a high morbidity rate for fledgling network marketing opportunities. I don’t say that to scare you… but, keep your eyes open and be honest with yourself at all times.
As to generating leads, I have a number of suggestions for you.
The best network marketing leads are the ones you generate for yourself. If you do it right, they get to know you before they’re ever introduced to your product, which makes the sale much easier. The other benefit of these leads is that they’re exclusively yours — you don’t have to share.
A "self-funded proposal" is the best way to do this. In essence, you sell an info-product to a target market that’s friendly to joining your business: other network marketers. When they buy the info-product from you, you pay back your advertising costs and generate a lead at the same time.
Ultimately, you want your own info-product to sell. But, there are a few excellent choices for the network marketing space:
1. The Renegade Network Marketer. This eBook, written by Ann Sieg, is designed to target people who are tired of old-fashioned network marketing. It teaches the new way, much of what I’m discussing here, and encourages network marketers to become affiliate marketers as a means of monetizing their business in new ways.
So, you advertise this book. People buy it and you get paid. You also get those people’s contact info. And, if those people buy any of the affiliate products or services, you get paid again, sometimes quite handsomely.

2. Most people buy the Renegade and then say, "Now what? How do I advertise the Renegade?" There are a million possible answers, but the easiest one to duplicate is Renegade University.
Mike Klingler has put together a cheap membership site that gives comprehensive, step-by-step video training in the latest online marketing techniques. Sit your grandma down on this and she’ll be using Facebook, Squidoo, AdWords, and E-Zine Advertising in no time.

3. When you’re not generating your own leads, you and your team should be using purchased leads. The best place to buy them from is a national lead co-op, and the best one I’ve found is Robert Blackman’s MLM Mastermind.
For $1 per lead, you get someone to talk to about your opportunity. Yeah, you’ll have to go through a few to find a good one, but find them you will. And when they ask you how they can grow their business without bugging friends and family, you can say, "Well, how did you find me?"
The best part about this lead co-op is: as you refer members of your downline to the program, you get paid. Residually. A good friend of mine is making $4,000 per month just from this program. Imagine the power of stacking it with NuVitae.

Hope this helps!
let me know if they work and what company you used thanks
No, they dont! Triggers is not the easier type lead. Marketing and advertising is the most effective for your money, to generate business!
However, if you call from a trigger and the end picks up…that’s all you can ask for from the trigger. The rest is up to you!!!

Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone knows of any good websites that would help generate real estate leads? I know the market is not doing so well and it is hard to get at least 1 qualified real estate leads. I have tried craigslist and a few other free sites. Hope you guys can lend a hand.

Here are some of the more popular classified websites where you can post your real estate classified ads for free.
http://www.backpage.com
http://www.kijiji.com
http://expo.live.com
http://www.classifiedads.com/real_estate-18.html
All four have high traffic, allow you to post for free and are local centric with a global reach.
Also think beyond the classified listings. Both Yahoo and Google have local options for businesses.

And so do the online yellow pages such as SuperPages.com

Also, be sure to check out some of the popular real estate websites as they have programs for generating leads to real estate agents.

I have some friends in the resort development and timeshare sales business. The industry is currently pretty slow with the economic downturn and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good, modern, web 2.0 solution to generate sales leads for the timeshare industry.
Check out Whitecap Lead Generation. Read about them online a few weeks ago- they provide a Software as a Service model to generate timeshare leads and tours for resorts.

I am a salesman at a Chrysler Jeep and Dodge dealership in San Diego. All our new vehicles have a LIFETIME WARRANTY. I am not a fleet or internet sales person, I am just your average sales go who is wanting to find that extra mile and take it, what can I do drive more customers to me. I mean as far as generating new leads. Please help me!!!
My first advice, having done it for years, is to run from the car business as fast as you can. That is unless, which is rare, that you work for a store with a good pay plan and doesn’t work you like a slave.
As far as advertising, I recommend sites like Craigslist. It is free and allot of people read it. Put it in the cars for sale by dealerships section. You will have to repost it frequently, due to other salespeople flagging it.
Also, you indicated that you are just a regular salesman. If you think that way then you will starve. The difference between a salesman and closer are light years apart.
Work on becoming a closer and not a salesman. A closer makes a $100K a year and a salesman make $30K. Which one do you want to be?
Do ever fear a customer getting up and walking away. Be polite, professional, bold and don’t hesitate to call bullshit when the customer is dishing it out.
If they tell you they can get it for $3K less down the street, then the question that should be politely asked is, "Wow, with such a great deal, why are you hear?" They are their because that deal does not exist.
Closers call BS and nail people to the wall. Great movies on sales are "Suckers"; great for the car business and "Glen Gary, Glen Ross". The Alec Baldwin scene in particular. Both can be found at your local Blockbuster.
You have to have brass balls to close people. You have to be the mentally toughest person at the table. You also can’t close them all. You cannot overcome ignorance, stupidity or poverty on behalf of the buyers.
I work in homebase and need ideas on generating sales leads in the kitchen/bathroom area of the business. What is your best advice on doing this?
Okay not ethical but could be profitable. First figure out how to hie your number when you call people. Second find your local phone book. Go down the list and call everyone on the list. Ya you will get a lot of no’s but you will also get alot of yes’s.
I knew an insurance salesmen that did this to sell insurance, sure it can work for you.
I purchase my home in April ‘07 and noticed today that the agent the seller used has posted it for sale on their website and yahoo! real estate effective Feb 10, ‘08. My house is not for sale. I haven’t even considered selling the house and have not had contact with that agent since the sale last year. What is my recourse? Any?
