I am starting a cleaning business is it recommended to use places like service magic lead to generate leads to get started or should i just try to generate leads myself. Is it wise to use one of those type organization to get started.
In my experience and line of work, generating leads is the results of having already done the job, at least with one company. trying to begin a Detailing Service, we made fliers, very simple ones, and I stood in parking lots handing them out. This was in May of that year. And we had maybe, 1-2 details a week at $100-150 each. But each one of them told three or four, (they golfed together) about what an amazing job we did and how fair a price. Before you know it we had more autos to clean then we could commit to doing. And some people were willing to wait two weeks for us to do their car. ?? I learned a lot. So, maybe, just a suggestion, you could make a flier that provides basic: tel, specialty, IE; only homes, only commercial cleaning, great with w/outside windows!…or some hook to say: "I’m different in this way!" And knock on doors giving one to the person in charge of maintenance at a company. Start with a company you know, where you trade and give them business. Ask and yea shall receive..is true in all sales. Say, Good Morning, with your hand out, I’m_______. I own an excellent cleaning company. May I speak to you for a minute, or would you allow me to call you another time so we could discuss how I can submit a bid for the work to clean your offices." You know. Like that. Yahoo!
